Preparation
Let the shoes dry
If your shoes are sweaty or wet, let them air dry first. A dry surface ensures the formula penetrates evenly and works at full effectiveness.
Unlock
Rotate the lid
Twist the lid to unlock the nozzle. This activates the precision spray mechanism, ready to deliver the formula exactly where it's needed.
Key Step
Place inverted into shoe
Flip the can upside down and insert the nozzle end into the shoe. This delivers the formula directly inside the lining where odour lives.
Spray
Spray for 2 seconds
Press the nozzle and hold for 2 seconds. Zinc Ricinoleate and Triethyl Citrate get to work immediately — neutralising odour at a molecular level.
Done
Remove, close & watch the magic
Remove the spray from the shoe, rotate the lid to close. Fresh shoes, zero odour, zero residue. Just confidence with every step.
The science
Why it actually works
Shoe odour is caused by bacteria that break down sweat, producing volatile acids. Most products simply add fragrance on top.
Step Fresh uses Zinc Ricinoleate to trap odour molecules permanently, while Triethyl Citrate inhibits the bacterial enzymes responsible — breaking the cycle at the source.
